Your Hero Story is the Key
“Humans think in stories, and we try to make sense of the world by telling stories.”
We need stories. Stories inspire us to have goals. We are all heroes in our own stories. Since the dawn of humanity, we have been telling each other stories about heroes.
One thing that is common throughout time is that most stories have a mentor. Sometimes, that mentor plays a key role in the story and is constantly a part of the story. Yoda is a key character in the Star Wars series. He appeared in six of the 12 movies. Other mentors are only minor to the story but pass on a short, significant message. Uncle Ben does that for Peter Parker just a few hours before he is killed. “With great power comes great responsibility.” Spiderman would not be a hero without Uncle Ben’s guiding words.
